Peter Friedrichsen, born 10 July 1866, at Tashchenak, Ukraine, baptized 3 June 1884, Saribash, Crimea, married Sarah Martins 25 April 1891, was ordained as minister of the Busau Mennonite Church, Crimea, by Elder Heinrich Martins on 15 May 1903, was ordained elder of this same congregation 7 May 1906, by Elder Abr. Friesen of the Karassan Mennonite Church. After the death of his first wife, he married the widow Maria Fast on 23 August 1920.

In addition to his work as a minister and elder, Friedrichsen was also a farmer and held other public positions. He lived in the village Busau-Aktatchi, Crimea. Friedrichsen was a fearless preacher of the Gospel, free of legalism. He preached a total of 2,015 sermons. He died 16 July 1926 (see <em>Unser Blatt</em> II, 148-49).
