Abraham van Gammeren, a member of the Huiskoper (Danzig Old Flemish congregation of Haarlem, Holland, was excommunicated in 1741 because of his sympathy with the Moravian Brethren. Dirk van Gammeren, who translated the sermons of the Moravian leader Count of Zinzendorf into Dutch in 1758, may have been a relative of Abraham van Gammeren.
