Geertruyt Faes, an Anabaptist martyr, was executed at Antwerp, Belgium, on 18 January 1577, together with Mayken Truyens and Laureys Janssen. The method of execution was not stated in the records. Geertruyt was charged with the crime of having received (re) baptism and attended the meetings of the Mennonites. Geertruyt and the two other martyrs executed on the same day were the last Anabaptists to die for their faith at Antwerp.
