Harmen de Wever (Harmen de Verwer, i.e., the Dyer, in van Braght's Martyrs' Mirror and Harmen der Färber in Mennonitisches Lexikon II: 256), an Anabaptist martyr, a weaver by trade, of Deventer, Dutch province of Overijssel, was burned there between 24 May and 16 June 1571.
