Hendrik Koel van Gelder (Hendrik Pietersz), a Dutch Anabaptist, beheaded at Delft, Dutch province of South Holland on 10 January 1539, was an ardent follower of David Joris. He was a fanatical zealot who believed that the Holy Ghost rested on David Joris and that his writings emanated from the Holy Ghost.
