Hendriksz, Pieter (17th century)

Pieter Hendriksz, a Mennonite, member of the Amsterdam Lamist congregation, was influenced by the Quakers in his view on the church and attacked Galenus Abrahamsz, the leader of the Lamist church, in a booklet Een Ernstige bestraffinge aen de Vlaemsche Doopsgesinde Gemeynte tot Amsterdam (Amsterdam, 1670), accusing him of laying too much stress upon form, especially in maintaining the old customs of baptism and communion.
