Herzhorn is a parish in southwest Holstein, Germany. The local pastor reported after the Thirty Years' War "that members of foreign religions like Anabaptists have settled here . . . but these have all died out; their children and descendants have, however, come into our church." In nearby Glückstadt the Anabaptists had lived three decades; during the disturbances of the war they had also settled in the surrounding country, without benefit of a special charter.
