Stanislaus Hosius (Stanisław Hozjusz) was cardinal-bishop of Culm in West Prussia, Germany. He was noted for his hatred of the Protestants; he discusses Menno Simons in his book, Confutatio Prolegomenon Brentii (Antwerp, 1561).
