Pius Hostetler (1867-1937), was born in Elkhart County, [[Indiana (USA)|Indiana]], on 23 July 1867, the seventh son of Christian J. and Magdalena Hershberger Hostetler. He was married to Ella Zook in [[Mifflin County (Pennsylvania, USA)|Mifflin County]], [[Pennsylvania (USA)|Pennsylvania]], on 15 February 1892. They raised a family of two boys and three girls.
