Hutterville Hutterite Colony was founded in 1982 as a division from the Spink Hutterite Colony. In 2021 the Hutterville Hutterite Colony was a Schmiedeleut Group 1 colony.

A daughter colony is: Sunrise Hutterite Colony (Summit, South Dakota, USA)


A senior minister was Sam Waldner in 2017.
