Jacob (Jaques) Mesdag (Mestdach, Mesdach), a Dutch [[Anabaptism|Anabaptist]] martyr, burned at the stake at [[Kortrijk (West-Vlaanderen, Belgium)|Kortrijk]] (Courtrai), [[Belgium|Belgium]], on 8 November 1567 with [[Joos Casteels (d. 1567)|Joos Casteels]], Willem Aertsz (Aertsen), and [[Karel Hannebeel (d. 1567)|Karel Hannebeel]].
