Jehan Cant (d. 1561)

Jehan (Hans) Cant, an Anabaptist martyr, a native of St. Winnoxbergen, Flanders, was burned at the stake at Bruges, Belgium, on 11 December 1561. He is not named in van Braght'sMartyrs' Mir<em>ror</em>. He is perhaps identical either with Hansken Parmentier or Hans Lisz, both found in the Martyrs' Mirror (Dutch edition, 288, English edition, 655).
