Jutte Eeuwouts was a Dutch [[Anabaptism|Anabaptist]] martyr, who was hanged at The Hague on 17 March 1536. Jutte Eeuwouts was a wealthy lady living at [[Poeldijk (Zuid-Holland, Netherlands)|Poeldijk]] in the Dutch province of South Holland near The Hague. Her house was a center of Anabaptist activity; here a number of fanatical and revolutionary Anabaptists used to meet, among whom was [[Adriaen Adriaensz (d. 1536)|Adriaen Adriaensz]], known as "the king of Israel."
