Georg Köhler, an [[Anabaptism|Anabaptist]] martyr, an illiterate day laborer of Mülsen St. Michall near Zwickau, [[Germany|Germany]], was baptized with [[Knobloch, Greta (d. 1534) and Georg Knobloch (16th century)|Georg Knobloch]] on 6 October 1534. He at once became a zealous propagandist for his faith, making a deep impression. He was seized at Riestedt near [[Sangerhausen (Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany)|Sangerhausen]], 2 September 1535, and was soon afterward executed at Sangerhausen with [[Möller, Georg (d. 1536)|Georg Möller]] and an Anabaptist woman.
