Katwijk aan Zee, a town in the Dutch province of South Holland was where Leenaert Bouwens baptized 27 persons from 1563-1565. From that time it was the seat of a small Mennonite congregation which later belonged to the Flemish branch. In 1649 the congregation had no preacher. It must have died out soon after, because no mention is made of this congregation at the Flemish conference at Leiden, June 1660.
