Kleinsasser is a fairly common family name among the Hutterian Brethren. Its progenitor was Johannes Kleinsasser (d. 1779 at[[Vyshenka (Chernihiv Oblast, Ukraine)| Vyshenka]], [[Russia|Russia]]) of Aemlach, [[Carinthia (Austria)|Carinthia]], [[Austria|Austria]].
