From 1908 he represented his congregation in the [[Vereinigung der deutschen Mennonitengemeinden (Union of German Mennonite Congregations)|Vereinigung]] and has to his credit particularly the organization of the Prediger-Ruhegehalts-Kasse (Ministers' Pension Foundation).
