Landis, Verena (d. ca. 1643)

Verena Landis, a daughter of the martyr Hans Landis, was placed in house arrest in her home near Zürich, Switzerland, in 1643, at an advanced age, because she was too sick to be transported to prison. The shock and the rough treatment caused her death soon after.
