<p><b>New page</b></p><div>Fannie Hershey Lapp, b. 9 December 1882, was the daughter of Amos H. and Lavina Hershey of [[Manheim (Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, USA)|Manheim]], [[Pennsylvania (USA)|Pennsylvania]], where she grew up and graduated from high school (1898). She felt led to prepare for Christian service and received a certificate from [[Bethany Theological Seminary (Richmond, Indiana, USA)|Bethany Bible School]], [[Chicago (Illinois, USA)|Chicago]], IL, in 1911, and a BSL degree in 1930 She also trained to become a practical nurse.<br />
