Lezius, Friedrich (1859-1939)

Friedrich Lezius, a Protestant theologian, was a lecturer at the University of Greifswalde, Germany, then (1901) professor of church history at the University of Königsberg, Prussia; he retired in 1925. In his book, Der Toleranzgedanke Lockes und Pufendorfs (1900), he discusses at length the part of the Anabaptists in the spread of religious toleration.
