Sipke Lootsma (1888-1940) was a schoolteacher and later a professor at the Lyceum at Zaandam, Netherlands, who wrote a number of historical papers. He also published some books, including De Zeildoekweverij te Krommenie (1928) and Bijdrage tot de Geschiedenis der Nederlandsche Walvischvaart, meer speciaal Zaansche (Wormerveer, 1937).
