Mariental, the name of two villages in Russia. Mariental, the name of two villages in Russia. The second village was founded in 1863 in the Alexandertal settlement in the province of Samara. In 1887 the Mennonite Brethren built a church here. In 1905 the congregation numbered 98 souls; in 1913 the membership was 250 souls. They suffered severely during the Revolution.
