Martin Taelman, an Anabaptist martyr, of whom little is known. He was an old man, born at St- Maria-Horebeke in Flanders, and living in Bruges, where he worked as a ropewalker. He was burned at the stake on 25 March 1572 at Ghent, Belgium.
