Mattheus de Vik (Mattheeuws de Vick, de Vicht, de Vecht), an Anabaptist martyr,was arrested with Christiaen Langedul, Cornelis Claesz, and Hans Symonsz on Sunday morning, 10 August 1567, at Antwerp, Belgium, while attending a meeting. After imprisonment and torture they were sentenced to death at Antwerp on 13 September 1567.
