The Mennonite Observer, a 12-page, 10 1/4 x 12 1/2 in. weekly companion to the Mennonitische Rundschau, has been published by the Christian Press at Winnipeg, Manitoba, beginning on 21 September 1955, with Leslie Stobbe as editor. The first six numbers had only eight pages. The publication ceased in December 1961, and was followed by the Mennonite Brethren Herald.
