Mennonitische Auslese, a German-language periodical edited and published by Arnold Dyck, Steinbach, Man., of which only one issue appeared in 1951. It was intended to be a Mennonite "digest" and to appear biannually. On its 85 pages the editor presents articles from Mennonite papers, e.g., Der Bote and Mennonitische Rundschau. The 25 illustrated articles dealt with the Mennonites the world over including numerous biographical sketches. Lack of subscriptions compelled the publisher to give up his plan. The Mennonitische Auslese may be considered a continuation of the Mennonitische Volkswarte and Warte-Jahrbuch.
