Michiel Jans (Jansen) was a preacher and leader of the Flemish party in the Mennonite congregation at Harlingen, Friesland, in 1566, when the Frisian-Flemish schism arose. He attacked Ebbe Pieters, then the leader of the Frisian party in the congregation. Being an old man, he apparently died soon after December 1566.
