Mutual Aid Service, Inc. (General Conference Mennonite), was organized in 1958 to replace the former committee on Mutual Aid, a subcommittee of the Board of Christian Service, and is designed to carry on the program of mutual aid and brotherhood sharing services sponsored by this board. This program includes the Hospital-Surgical Aid Plan, Investment Services, Placement Assistance, and Mutual Aid Assistance Loans. Head offices are in the Conference Headquarters at 722 Main, Newton, Kansas.
