Nieuwpoort is a town in the Dutch province of South Holland, where Leenaert Bouwens baptized 12 persons in 1563-1565. Of a Mennonite congregation at Nieuwpoort nothing is known. These converts may have constituted the original core of the Mennonite congregation in the neighboring town of Vianen.
