The North Star Church of God in Christ, Mennonite at Hyas, [[Saskatchewan (Canada)|Saskatchewan]] began services in 1979, and formally organized in 1980. The first building was occupied in 1980. David Penner is considered the founding leader of the group. The language of worship is English. North Star also operates North Star School.

The North Star Church of God in Christ, Mennonite congregation in Hyas, Saskatchewan, Canada was established in 1979 with John Penner as the first leader.
