Eventually the BC Conference of MB Churches approached Northview Community Church with the proposal to assume leadership of Northside Community Church. Northside Community Church, Mission, BC

The Mission Community Fellowship closed in February 1999, but a congregation was restarted at the same location in October of the same year under the name Northside Community Church. The congregation joined the British Columbia Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches in May 2000. The new congregation began adding an enlarged foyer and Sunday school space to its building in 2000.
