Hans Oberecker (Overacker, Overakker), an [[Anabaptism|Anabaptist]] martyr of Affers in the [[Adige Valley (Südtirol, Austria)|Adige Valley]] of [[Tyrol (Austria)|Tyrol]], Austria (now [[Italy|Italy]]), was sent with Hieronymus Kals and [[Seifensieder, Michael (d. 1536)|Michael Seifensieder]] to Tyrol as a missionary of the [[Hutterian Brethren (Hutterische Brüder)|Hutterian Brethren]]. They were seized in Vienna. Hans was burned at the stake on 31 March 1536.
