Passchier Weyns, an Anabaptist martyr, burned at the stake at Ghent, Belgium on 29 December 1568, with Daniel de Paeu and Daniel van Vooren. Particulars are lacking. Van Braght's Martyrs' Mirror gives only the year of their execution, not the exact date, nor the method. The names of these martyrs are also found in a song, "Alsmen schreef duyst vijfhondert jaer ende twee en tsestich mede," found in the 1578 and following editions of the Lietboecxken.
