<em>Perle-Bäumli</em> is the name of a hymn by the Swiss Brethren, which contains 100 stanzas and begins with the words: "Was wollen wir singen und heben an zu Ehren dem himmlischen Bräutigam." Motto: The kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls; who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it (Matthew 13). The song was printed in 1767.
