Hans Pfefferlin, a victim of the Anabaptist perse­cutions of the Swabian League, was captured on 24 April 1528, with Eitelhans Langenmantel at Leitheim and although he recanted his Anabaptist belief was put to death at Weissenhorn on 11 May 1528. He stemmed from Göggingen near Augsburg, Germany, and had been baptized in his home by Leonhard of Linz.
