Pleasant Grove Mennonite Church ([[Mennonite Church (MC)|Mennonite Church]]), Salix, [[Pennsylvania (USA)|Pennsylvania]], had 27 members in 1958. Norman Teague was its licensed minister. It was started in 1900 in an aban­doned Lutheran church near Elton by L. A. Blough, organized as a congregation the same year, erected a new meetinghouse in 1910 remodeled in 1940.

In 1910 the Lutheran Church was dismantled and a new building was erected on property about one half mile east, donated by Levi Knavel. The Elton Mission was established at the 1899 session of the Southwestern Pennsylvania Mennonite Conference held at Rockton, Pennsylvania, with L. A. Blough being responsible for the work.
