Polrus (Pulrus, Pilraust), Erhard, an [[Anabaptism|Anabaptist]] martyr, baptized by George of Staffelstein in Esperstedt, near Frankenhausen in [[Thuringia (Germany)|Thuringia]], in 1529, was arrested in early January, but released when he recanted.
