Der Rundschau-Kalender, an annual almanac, published 1927-1935, at Winnipeg, Manitoba, by the Rundschau Publishing House. In 1935 the almanac section was replaced with a simple calendar for the year. Earlier issues included Bible readings. Beginning in 1929 the Sundays of the church year were named. Serious articles on Mennonite themes by recognized Mennonite Brethren authors mark most of the earlier issues. With the 1933 issue these were replaced by articles of general information. The lists of ministers published in 1927 and 1928 were almost identical with those in the Mennonite Yearbook and Directory for 1926 and 1927. No ministerial lists appeared in 1929 and 1930. Beginning with 1931 ministerial lists and statistical information were restricted to Mennonites of various branches in Western Canada and Mennonites of Russian background in Ontario. With the exception of the first and last issues, each issue had 64 pages. There was a minimum of advertising.
