San Juan Colony (Guanajuato, Mexico)

San Juan Colony, near the city of Irapuato, Mexico, a short-lived (1924-25) colonization effort by a group of Mennonite refugees from Russia, sponsored by H. P. Krehbiel and other Mennonites of Kansas, as a well-intended but nevertheless a rival colony to the Rosario Colony.
