Cuntz Schmaus, an [[Anabaptism|Anabaptist]] preacher, stemmed from Kupferberg near Würzburg, Germany, was won to the Anabaptists by [[Hut, Hans (d. 1527)|Hans Hut]], and probably baptized by him in Vienna in 1527.
