Schneider, Gallus (d. 1640)
Gallus Schneider of Wädiswyl in the Swiss canton of Bern, an Anabaptist martyr, died in the prison of the Oethenbach monastery at Zürich in 1640, having been "kept in irons sixteen weeks and very harshly treated."
