Walser Schneider, (Walser=Balthasar; Martyrs' Mirror has Wolfert), an Anabaptist martyr, who was executed in 1533 (not 1536 as in Martyrs’ Mirror) at Gufidaun in the Adige Valley of Tyrol, Austria, with Christian Alseider, Valentin (Valtan) Gsäl, Hans Beck, Wölfl of Götzenberg, Hans Maurer, and Peter Kranewetter, on account of his faith.
