Hilchen Smit (Schmidt), was an elder of the [[Frisian Mennonites|Frisian Mennonite]]congregation at [[Montau (Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland)|Montau]], [[West Prussia|West Prussia]], in the second half of the 16th century.
