The Spanish Evangelical Church at Burnaby, BC began services in 1982. George Sanchez is considered the founding leader of the group. The congregation originated through outreach by Willingdon Mennonite Brethren Church. George Sanchez remained in 1996 as an Associate Pastor of the Willingdon congregation.

In 1985 there were 40 members. The congregation merged into the Willingdon Mennonite Brethren Church. The language of worship was Spanish.

The church's address is 4812 Willingdon Ave., Burnaby, BC, V5G 3H6. (604) 435-5544. Pastor George Sanchez served in 1987 as a congregational leader.
