Steinreich Mennonite Brethren Church, located near Peabody, Marion County, Kansas, a member of the Southern District Conference, began in 1905 as an extension project of the Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church.

Various ministers from Ebenfeld served the young church, among whom were H. W. Lohrenz and J. W. Lohrenz.

The membership in 1957 was 40, mostly rural, with Franz Dick as pastor. The meetinghouse has recently been remodeled.

The church has since closed.
