Sugarcreek, Ohio is a village of 889 population (1950) in western Tuscarawas County, near the Holmes County line. The Old Order Amish settlement of Holmes County extends several miles eastward past Sugarcreek. The village is the home of The Budget, published here since 1890. The Sugarcreek First Mennonite (General Conference Mennonite Church) Church is located in the village. (See map of Holmes County.)
