Sunnyside Mennonite Church (formerly Arthur Conservative Amish Mennonite Church), located near Arthur, [[Illinois (USA)|Illinois]], was organized 23 March 1945 with a membership of eight. Samuel T. Eash ([[Middlebury (Indiana, USA)|Middlebury]], [[Indiana (USA)|Indiana]]), Nevin Bender (Greenwood, [[Delaware (USA)|Delaware]]) and Elmer G. Swartzendruber ([[Wellman (Iowa, USA)|Wellman]], [[Iowa (USA)|Iowa]]) were the Executive Committee of the [[Conservative Mennonite Conference|Conservative Amish Mennonite Conference]] in charge of the organization. In the summer of 1945 and again in 1946 Minister Shem Peachey of Springs, [[Pennsylvania (USA)|Pennsylvania]], had charge of the congregation; in the winter of 1945-1946 Eli Swartzentruber of Greenwood had charge, and on 21 March 1947 Levi M.
