The Surrey Hispanic Church, pastored by Jorge Cardoza, began in 1993. It joined the [[British Columbia Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches|British Columbia Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches]] in 1999. The congregation worked closely with [[Cornerstone Community Church (Surrey, British Columbia, Canada)|Cornerstone Community Church]] and met in the Fraser Valley Christian High School in Surrey.
