Klaas (Claes) Toornburg(h) (Torenburg, Toornenburg, also Toorn), a physician and preacher of the Waterlander Mennonites in the Netherlands. He is said to have been of delicate health. He was born at Alkmaar ca. 1657, studied medicine at Leiden, and settled as a physician in his home town in 1688, where he also was chosen as preacher of the Mennonite Waterlander congregation. From 1696 until 1720, when he retired, he was preacher at De Rijp, and also practiced medicine. His year of death is unknown.
