George D. Troyer was a missionary physician in India ([[Madhya Pradesh State (India)|Madhya Pradesh]], 1923-1936) and [[Puerto Rico|Puerto Rico]] (1944-1967) with [[Mennonite Board of Missions (Mennonite Church)|Mennonite Board of Missions]] ([[Mennonite Church (MC)|Mennonite Church]]). He was born in Kokomo, Indiana, the last of 29 siblings. He was the only one in his family to attend college. He graduated from the Chicago Medical School in 1922.
